How can the aviation industry achieve climate neutrality? What technologies, measures, and regulatory frameworks play a role in this? The new CENA InfoHub provides answers to these and other key questions relating to sustainable aviation - in a compact, understandable, and scientifically up-to-date format.

An overview of our key topics:

  • Climate protection: Learn about the direct and indirect climate impacts of aviation - and the solutions that can reduce them. The InfoHub explains the strategies and roadmaps at the national, European, and international levels that are designed to achieve climate-neutral aviation by 2050.
  • Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF):
SAF are considered a key lever for decarbonizing aviation. In the InfoHub, you can find out about the different production pathways, how individual SAF types differ, and what requirements must be met for their approval. Current developments in the SAF market are also highlighted.
  • Framework conditions:
From CORSIA to ReFuelEU Aviation to the Federal Climate Action Act: The InfoHub provides a structured overview of international regulations, European directives, and national measures - and shows their significance for the SAF market ramp-up and the transformation of aviation.
